This article presents basic and slight knowledge to understand and to evaluate the teacher’s authority within the program “Playing and living Values”, which is an institutional program of the UAM. This program is developed within the framework of the Interdisciplinary Program “Human Development in Chiapas” of the uam. This proposal could be called also “Childhood and authority” since it shows firstly, an educative philosophy about how are conceived the teacher’s and children’s authorities; secondly, it presents briefly some of the pedagogical mechanisms to develop moral authority in all the actors who participate in the educative community: teachers, children, managers, parents of family and administrative personnel; thirdly, the article presents the statistic of the answers around the survey applied to the teachers and some of their commentaries to it, as well?
