Abstract

During the last decade, universities have implemented the use of cit in the academic processes, through several dynamics and technologies. At different rates, they started a digital alphabetization process which has reported relevant experiences. Beyond sociocultural struggle, they established action plans, and implemented virtual campi, as well as Learning Virtual Environments (LVE). However, nowadays a new discussion has emerged, analyzing the role of this applications and their future according to Web 3.0 and the massive use of social networks. Reflection is focused on how to produce contents, integrate virtual communities, overcome technological incompatibility, as well as the potential disadvantages of an online centralizad management. In this scenario, Personal Learning Environments (PLE) have emerged. That is why we have the purpose to analyze the opportunity of this perspective on the context of UAM.
