This paper analyzes the problem of technological equity in the context Mexican educational system. On theses grounds, it proposes a series of criteria and recommendations in order to introduce Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) into public elementary schools and make them available and customary to students and teachers all over the country, considering their cultural diversity and socio-economic status. The text includes a strategy to achieve this goal in a gradual and differentiated manner.
