La evaluación de la docencia y su diagnóstico

The goal of this article is to inform about the diagnostic process related to the teaching evaluation, developed by the professional careers in the “Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso”, Chile. This diagnostic had as fundamental goals, to analyze the valuation granted to the teaching evaluation by teachers and students and to gather information about the several valid teaching evaluation systems in each career, analyze its strengths and weaknesses. The experience can be considered successful because it summoned a lot of interest among participants and some criterions could be joined to build a new system that collected the good experiences and corrected actual weaknesses.
