Abstract

This report is an exercise grounded on qualitative research methodology, performed by sociology students at the UAM Xochimilco, coached by two professors. According to the authors this paper tries to provide a platform to listen to the voice of the main actors of the educational act. In this exercise students read their schooling experience, based on the theories revised and learned in the course: Education and Culture. It also has the goal to apply the content learned through out BA program as well as a reflecting moment on their schooling processes. At the end, this document tries to illustrate the educational crisis lived by Mexican students in public institutions of higher education, in modern times.
