Abstract

Sensitive pedagogy is the result of the need for a pertinent model for teaching art, that can substitute the traditional conceptions of this type of education. In Sensitive Pedagogy, man is a sensitive, imaginative and perceptive unit, and the social interactions that he sustains with the environment will prevail over the alienation and isolation imposed by the traditional school. He will pay more attention to the motivational and recreacional aspects of art, and he will stress the importance of innovation and the production of knowledge of art; giving shape to social conflicts and the approach to the problems of each discipline, not as isolated situations, but as events mutually inter –and trans– disciplinarily supportive.
