Abstract

Appropriation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for education by youth is one of the major issues of educational communication. The uses, applications of technologies, and in general terms, digital literacy viewed from a cultural angle, are important elements participating in the teaching and learning processes of current educational systems. These appropriation processes are considered essential in an educational vision that considers the relevance of competency for the professional field, and especially for communication in different scenarios. It is therefore important for our research to analyze the interactions and social representations of college students as central elements in knowledge construction, in a field articulated by the participation of ICT, students, teachers and teaching.
