Génesis, desarrollo y perspectivas del normalismo preescolar en México

The purpose of this paper is to reconstruct the social genesis of normalismo as an ideological project, and escuelas normales (teachers colleges) as a materialization of it, particularly preschool teachers colleges in Mexico. The text is structured in three sections: the first section presents the genesis of this ideological project and the emergence of early teachers colleges in the country; a second, explains the development of this educational project form the posrevolutionary regime to current times; a third, analyses normalismo and preschool teachers colleges future perspectives; and finally, the article offers some lines of academic an political action to adjust normalismo and teachers colleges in Mexico into a posmodern society.
