Publicaciones científicas The journal Salud Problema is one of the first periodicals to have been published by the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. The first issue appeared in 1978, and it has been publishing articles on public health medicine ever since. A review of its articles reveals that its main themes reflect the major concerns of Latin American health authorities and academics, namely, inequality in health care. In addition, both new and recurring topics are treated.
