Tendencias en la formación de investigadores e la UAM

Abstract

The main line of reflection of this article is that of the training and preparation of researchers in public universities. In the first part the political context is looked at, as this has an impact on the various different projects for the preparation of researchers at these institutions of higher education. In the second part the three tendencies which can be seen to be present in the preparation of researchers and the practice of research at the UNAM are presented: the academic-disciplinary tendency, the professionalising and the flexiblising tendencies. The processes of preparation and the research practices which take these tendencies into consideration can also be recognised in the majority of public institutions.
