Cambios y tensiones en la educación superior pública

Abstract

This article analyzes the changes and tensions faced by the field of public higher education in México during the last decade. Changes imposed by information society, the use of information and Communications technologies and the application of neoliberal policies the field of education, particularly higher education have created new historical conditions. I this renewed social space the system has been assessed, accredited and certified. All these changes have created different tensions within the system, which nevertheless has been able to adapt and promote actions to outreach the needs of the Mexican society.
