Abstract

Ten variables are proposed to build scenarios that would influence Higher Education in LA amd C by the year 2025: 1. Work. 2. Life and Health. 3. Urbanism. Enviroment and Demography. 4. Culture. 5. Genetic and Etology. 6.Geopolitics. 7. Gender and Family. 8. Politics.Parties and Civil Society. 9.Education and Science. 10. Resources: renewal and non-renewal. Twenty concrete actions are proposed to policy makers. To face and challenge the dominant Pedagogic of Fear the author proposes a Pedagogic of Courage. The proposal is methapolitical, futuristic, cultural and scientific. To face this facts, describes some characteristics of the Education of free man and women, as the Pedagogic of Courage, as the final purpose of education. The frame of reference is a geopolitical one: global culture versus alternative cultures.
