University lecturers are currently under pressure to teach students and at the same time they need to make efforts to undertake meaningful research. Some institutions combine teaching and research. In others, hard-pressed academics find that their research interests and their teaching are increasingly divergent. The demands of teaching and research should be balanced, however the reality is that, university staff need to transform knowledge gained during research into written reports ; manage their time and organize the information they collect and create. Newdays more and more higher education institutions involve students-led research, but many students are new to research and are not yet equipped with the necessary skills. Teachers therefore should orient learning activities in a clear and concise form taking into account that managing research for information is essential to undertake research. This would help students who are tackling research for the first time to make decisions to cope successfully with the key problems they face during their professional practice.
