La educación musical y el aprendizaje de la diversidad cultural

Abstract

Even given the panorama of audiovisual resources available, some music education programs focus on a monocultural tradition of European concert music rather than offering a variety of musical culture and diversity, thereby reducing the options for a diverse musical education in both formal and non formal environments. In this article, I outline several music teaching proposals which seek to expose young people to diversity and interculturalism.
