La estructura de gestión de la docencia y el desafío de la cualidad innovadora en la UAM

The purpose of this paper is to show how some particular problems in the organizational structure of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana may difficult teaching Management and eventually have a negative effect on the quality of its educational programs. This problem does not derive just from operative inefficiencies of administrative instances, or from managers, professors or students performances, but from structural causes based on normative dispositions that govern this institution. Moreover, it is suggested that after 2001, with the approval of the General and Operative Teaching Policies, this structure, has jeopardize the application of the new educational philosophy that these policies contain.
