El caso del SUAyED-UNAM

Abstract

In the first decade of xxi century the delivery of education has been strengthened with the implementation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), which arise as a measure to expand the coverage in higher education. Sistema Universidad Abierta y Educación a Distancia (SUAyED), of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), is conceived as a flexible option in space and time for study. Their methodology incorporates the use of ICT as tools for teachinglearning process. SUAyED is an open and innovative system, whose Challenger is to increase the quality of their educational programs and to achieve the appropriation of knowledge supported by technology as an interactive way to transfer scientific knowledge to solve specific problems effectively.
