Abstract

This paper exposes the preliminary results of an investigation into a school career and schooling conditions of Bachelor Degree students in the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, in the Licenciatura en Educación Indígena. It is at this early stage, to outline the conditions under which schooling of indigenous students is performed from aspects such as: the actual coverage of basic school services, the possibility of access to school services, the conditions of provision of infrastructure and basic facilities necessary for the proper performance of the school, teachers work conditions, native tongue attention, among others.
