Abstract

Among the policies of internationalization in higher education of Mexico students mobility is an element to strengthen their training. Internationalization is also seen within the nacional territory, with the addition of students, professionals and employers from other countries who come to “compete” for national spaces. Therefore, students need intercultural education that helps them to build cognitive skills for problema solving and social skills that enable them to interact with people of different national cultures and integrate them to institutional and labor spaces with different cultures. Besides, higher education institutions need to train their teachers in designing learning environments that promote intercultural education.
