This paper provides a summary or overview of organization and planning of university cultural dissemination understood as value added; that is, as adding to knowledge not only of students and professors, but of society as a whole. We argue in favor of cultural dissemination in society based on increased communication and on its effects in shaping the social environment. An analysis of the situation is given and a model for a dynamic, open university is proposed. An overview of the organization and planning of cultural dissemination is given, together with examples.
