Abstract

If the economic, social and political growth level of a society define the type of education, then the polarization of the world would determine the education adequate to their own needs: 1) In the developed capitalism pole education is integrated to economic production in order to contribute to its own and incessant develop. How and why this happens? We emphasize that the extra profit, like imperative decision of developed capitalism, redefine all society spheres in order to get it. Education is an example; while it is integrated to the production, the formative and pedagogic task is reduced to act like technical element a productive force to contribute to obtain the international extra profit. 2) In opposition of that, the underdeveloped capitalist pole, in the international division of labor, take place the more simple, rustic an routinely works; then, these economies do not need to develop its productive forces because they buy the productive equipment from the central capitalism. Then its productive structure of labor does not demand qualify human resources to develop for their own benefit the scientific knowledge and its technical application; consequently, education does not need to qualify or prepare the labor force to develop science and technology; in reality its truly mission consist in adapting the labor force to the modernization, to the imported equipment; in general the educational mission is to contribute to produce and tighten the underdeveloped condition of the periphery. These exploratory step, from the general analysis to particular level, is needed in order to specify the truly task that education realize in Mexican socio-economic reality.
