Abstract

To speak of the quality of professors refers to organizational elements beyond that which strictly concerns the public education system. The purpose of the present paper is centred in exploring the human being’s quality that, in the academic work of a superior level, has to realize its labour in a crossroad full with institutional contradictions, particularly in the way that it is stimulated by PROMEP-SNI, and assuming its long term consequence. To outline this crossroad, to restate it and to subject it to continuous scrutiny inside the Institutions of Superior Education (IES), facilitates a better understanding and function, when considering, with conscience, the sign of a pro-man’s type and social system that therein is forged for the community.
