Policies of educational integration have different interpretations some of them based on any sort theoretical support or empirical evidence. This situation has created some confusion among users and subjects of these policies. This work analyses the political discourse on educational integration from a sociological perspective, underlying the importance the cultural dimension in the interpretation of this kind of policies.
