Reflexiones sobre el futuro del servicio social universitario

Abstract

This article reflects on the future of university social service. Humanistic education, as the keystone of cooperative plans for future projects, enriches the concept of social service. These reflections are based on the experiences of the Universidad Iberoamericana. Of the challenges in improving social service, the option of incorporating it into the university curriculum casts it as a practical process evoking a structured set of knowledge and learning experiences that can be translated into methods of tackling real-world problems.
